The 2024 Amanah national convention, scheduled for December 28 and 29, has been postponed to next month due to the ongoing flood disaster in the country, which has not fully subsided.
The conventions for the Women’s, Youth, and Young Women’s wings, originally set for December 27, have also been postponed.
“The Amanah national leadership committee has decided on new dates, with the convention to be held on January 25 and 26 at KSL Esplanade Hotel, Klang.
“Meanwhile, the wing conventions will take place a day earlier, on January 24, at the same location,” according to a statement by Secretary-General Faiz Fadzil.
Previously, PKR postponed its annual congress, which was scheduled for tomorrow until Sunday, due to the ongoing flood disaster in several states.
However, a special congress will be held on Sunday to amend the party’s constitution.
